Kuta Karnival 2007

The annual Kuta Karnival has opened today on Kuta Beach. The event runs from today, Sept 1st until Sept 9th. The Kuta Karnival started in 2003 as a “Community” and “Recovery” initiative of the Kuta Small Business Association (KSBA) for the island of BALI. This afternoon crowds gathered on sunny Kuta Beach to feel the good vibes and check out what was going on. The Kuta Karnival is really a ‘feel good’ event rather than actually affecting the economy, with many hardworking people contributing to make it happen.

The increased traffic to the beach area will hopefully bring more business to the ladies who patrol selling massages, beads and fruit. Stages have been set up at Kuta Halfway and the beach area will be throbbing tonight with bands and partying beach-goers (90% Balinese locals). This afternoon Kuta lifeguards and surfers took part in a small ceremony and had their boards sprinkled with flowers. The Balinese ladies really have a delightful way about them. Small displays and events happen all over town during the Kuta Karnival, but the 2 best attraction by far are the Balinese dancing displays at the area at the south end of Jl. Pantai Kuta next to the beach and the food court at the north end of Jl. Pantai Kuta. If you are coming to Bali come down to Kuta Beach and check out Kuta Karnival 2007.

Company Profile

With office headquarters in Istana Kuta Galeria; Exotiq Villa Holidays is the newest EXOTIQ division, operating in collaboration with Bali’s well-known and well-established EXOTIQ REAL ESTATE. Exotiq Villa Holidays was conceived to tackle the unmet need for reliable ongoing villa property management caused by the island’s unprecedented growth in new villa development.

The market for brand new villa properties in Bali appears to be growing exponentially, with property price increases running at a rate of roughly 15%-25% per annum. There is general consensus that over the last 3 years the quantity of rental villas in Bali has risen over 50%. Prices are holding and villas are selling, with new villa sales growth expected well into 2008, and possibly beyond.

New villa owners usually live outside of Bali, and make their purchase for investment and vacation reasons. They foresee the need for quality care of their newly purchased property, and just as important, the potential to gain rental revenues through guest bookings for accommodation in villas. Its not surprising that quality property management is considered a required inclusion in nearly all new villa sales agreements.

Geo-location of Bali

Bali is an Indonesian island located at 8°25′23″S, 115°14′55″ECoordinates: 8°25′23″S, 115°14′55″E, the westernmost of the Lesser Sunda Islands, lying between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. It is one of the country's 33 provinces with the provincial capital at Denpasar towards the south of the island. The island is home to the vast majority of Indonesia's small Hindu minority. It is also the largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts, including dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking and music.

Bali on the map seems such a small island. Indeed it covers a small area of just 5,620 square kilometres, and is one of the smallest islands in the Indonesian archipelago. However, it is a great mistake to think that you can see all of Bali in a couple of days. Apart from a stunning range of scenery that varies every view kilometres and amaze of criss-crossing roads to explore there are thousands of places of interest to discover, and a culture and lifestyle full of exciting events to witness.
